BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND FOUNDING OFFICERS

The founding members were also grieving caregivers and experienced professional persons in the health, home and elder care industry who perfectly understood the horrific consequences of this disease which affects not only the diagnosed individual but also their families and even the community at large.

Unlike other public charity organizations, every member and Director of the Foundation volunteers his/her time, talents, and experiences without any compensation.

Baba’s Bunch Foundation endorses Easter Seals of South Florida

Since its incorporation in July 2013, Baba’s Bunch Foundation, Inc. has been assisting caregivers taking care of loved-ones diseased with Alzheimer’s in partnership with Easter Seals of South Florida first to eliminate the duplication of overhead expenses and for making sure that the available funds were to be used more effectively assisting grieving families afflicted with Alzheimer’s. For the last ten years, Baba’s Bunch Foundation has witnessed the positive and compassionate care offered by Easter Seals to its members and families and know no other alternative having more resources and experience to service those families living with Alzheimer’s disease and similar memory disorders.

Fundraising Events and Donations

Good wishes and prayers are always welcome but to provide real respite and material relief to others, we need your best tangible support.

On September 30, 2027, Baba’s Bunch Foundation held its first DANCE FOR BABA event in order fund the in-home respite support program which would provide one family 8-hours per week for 52 weeks; the cost then was about $1,750 per family and we were sponsoring 25 families!

We were able to repeat this event on November 3, 2018 and November 2, 2019 but unfortunately the pandemic prevented us from continuing during the last few years.

Donations can be also made by visiting our secured website www.babasbunch.org or mailing a check payable to Baba’s Bunch Foundation, Inc. to 1131 Manati Ave, Coral Gables, Florida 33146.

It has been only because of the sustained generous support of some that Baba’s Bunch Foundation Inc. has been able to continue providing limited assistance to needy families.

Please consider that as an added plus, Baba’s Bunch Foundation, Inc. is exempted from Federal income tax under Section 501 C (3) therefore your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

We look forward to your continued support.
